School Emergency Response to Violence (Project SERV)
U.S. Department of Education
Description: Project SERV funds short-term education-related services for local educational agencies (LEAs) and institutions of higher education (IHEs) to help them recover from a violent or traumatic event in which the learning environment has been disrupted. These grants are intended to provide a limited amount of funds to meet acute needs and restore the learning environment.
Eligibility: Local education agencies (LEAs) and institutions of higher education (IHEs) that have experienced a traumatic event of such magnitude as to severely disrupt the teaching and learning environment.

Project Lead the Way STEM Grants
Project Lead the Way (PLTW)
Description: Project Lead The Way is making grants available to schools across the US that are interested in implementing PLTW programs for the first time for the 2024-2025 school year. PLTW is a non-profit organization that provides STEM curriculum programs for schools from kindergarten through high school. PLTW offers several programs aimed at students of different ages: Launch, PreK through 5; Gateway, 6 through 8; Algebra 1 Advantage, 6 through 12; Computer Science, 9 through 12; Engineering, 9 through 12; and Biomedical Science, 9 through 12.
Eligibility: Public, Private, Charter Schools
Estimated grant amount: Variable depending on grant; grants will directly cover the costs associated with implementation of PLTW programs

2024-25 Title I School Improvement Grant 1003 Coaching for Excellence
New York State Education Department
Description: For the 2024-25 school year, the New York State Education Department (NYSED or “the Department”) is providing Target Districts with schools identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI), and Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) model at the beginning stages of implementing instructional coaching the opportunity to receive funding to support the employment of an instructional coach to allow the school to participate in the NYSED Coaching for Excellence program.
Eligibility: Target Districts with at least one non-Receivership school in the Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) or Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI) support model are eligible. Additional criteria must be met (see announcement for more details).
Award amount: $125,000 in funding to support the salary and benefits for the employment of up to 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) instructional coach that participates in the Coaching for Excellence (CFE): Foundational Path or $50,000 in funding to support the salary and benefits for the employment of the 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) instructional coach or, in secondary schools only, two 0.5 FTE instructional coaches in conjunction with participation in the CFE: Elevate path.
Project period: September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025
