2025-2027 Learning Technology Grant
New York State Education Department
Description: The purpose of this grant is to develop, implement, and share innovative programs that utilize learning technologies to personalize learning and/or increase access to high-quality, rigorous learning experiences (such as through online, distance, or blended learning), as well as professional development programs to assist teachers and educational leaders in effectively utilizing learning technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Eligibility: Public school districts and consortia of districts or district(s) and BOCES
Project Period: 2.5 years from January 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027
Funding Amount: $3,285,000 is expected to be allocated annually. Funds will be divided into three categories: New York City; the Big Four (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Yonkers) public school districts; and those from all other public school districts and BOCES in the Rest of State (ROS).

Kids Run the Nation Grant
Road Runner’s Club of America
Description: The goal of the RRCA’s Kids Run the Nation Grant Fund is to provide financial assistance to running clubs, schools, and community-based nonprofits interested in implementing or currently hosting gender and ability inclusive youth running programs.
Eligibility: Running clubs, events, or other organizations with the IRS 501(c)(3) designation; Elementary and middle schools that provide an organized after-school running program. The program should have kids running more than once each week for multiple weeks, should be a structured running program, must be gender-inclusive, and must meet SafeSport Act requirements.
Grant Amount: Small grants ranging from $500 to $1,000

Japanese Teaching Material Purchase Grant
Japan Foundation Los Angeles
Description: This program is intended to assist educational institutions in the U.S. purchase teaching materials (textbooks, audio-visual materials, cultural decor, dictionaries, digital learning software, teachers’ reference books, etc.) for their Japanese-language courses.
Eligibility: Non-profit educational institutions/organizations in the U.S. which teach Japanese as a world language; Japanese heritage language schools
Grant Amount: Up to $1,000
Application Deadline: September 15, 2024
