Spark Good Local Grants
Walmart
Description: The Walmart Spark Good Local Grants program awards cash grants ranging from $250 to $5,000 to eligible organizations operating locally. The funds are used to address the unique needs of the communities where Walmart stores operate.
Eligibility: K-12 public or nonprofit private schools, charter schools, community/junior colleges, state/private colleges or universities

2024-25 Title I School Improvement Grant 1003
NYS Education Department
Description: The purpose of this grant is to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of district and school continuous improvement plans to improve student performance. Specifically, funds are provided to support the (1) 2024-25 District Comprehensive Improvement Plan (DCIP) and School Comprehensive Educational Plan (SCEP) implementation and monitoring and (2) 2025-26 planning and development of district and school improvement plans/activities.
Eligibility: Target Districts, Schools identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), Schools identified for Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI), Schools identified for Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI)

Deadline: August 30, 2024 (reviewed on a rolling basis)
Municipal Waste Reduction and Recycling Program
Department of Environmental Conservation
Description: The goal of this program is to assist municipalities to expand or improve local waste reduction and recycling. Eligible projects include costs for recycling coordination, education, planning and promotion for recycling and waste reduction in order to increase public awareness of and participation in local recycling programs.
Eligibility: Public School Districts, Supervisory Districts & Improvement Districts (and more).
Total Funding Available: $5,000,000
Deadline: N/A. Proposals are accepted on an ongoing, first come-first serve basis.
