NY Grant Finder is designed to provide you with the grant opportunities available to help make New York schools happier and healthier places to learn and thrive.</p><h3>American Academy of Dermatology Shade Structure Program</h3><h4>American Academy of Dermatology</h4><ul><li><p><strong>Description: </strong>The American Academy of Dermatology's (AAD) Shade Structure Program awards funds for installing permanent shade structures. In addition to the grant, the AAD also provides a permanent sign to be placed near the shade structure featuring sun-safety tips.</p></li><li><p><strong>Eligibility: </strong>Public schools for students 18 and younger</p></li><li><p><strong>Award amount: </strong>Up to $8,000. Grants can launch new farm to school programs or expand existing efforts. There are two funding opportunities offered under the Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant Program in FY 2025 for which independent school districts are eligible: </p><p><em><strong>Farm to School Implementation Grant</strong></em></p><ul><li><p><strong>Description: </strong>The objective of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Farm to School Implementation Grant is to improve access to local foods in eligible CNP sites through comprehensive farm to school programming that includes both local sourcing and agricultural education efforts. In a time when many schools are reallocating their funds to technology and audiovisual equipment, they hope to make sure that school libraries are still offering children good books to read.</p></li><li><p><strong>Eligibility:</strong> PreK&#8211;12 public, private, and experimental schools</p></li><li><p><strong>Award amount:</strong> Grants typically range from $2,500 to $10,000. When you apply for a grant, you should ask for the amount that the project requires. Full proposals are by invitation only. NYSBIP is a voucher incentive program which will accelerate the deployment of zero-emission school buses and charging infrastructures throughout New York State. Electric School Bus (ESB) Dealers work with the Purchasers to complete the School Bus Voucher Application. NY Grant Finder is designed to provide you with the grant opportunities available to help make New York schools happier and healthier places to learn and thrive.</p><h3><strong>2025-2027 Learning Technology Grant</strong></h3><h4><strong>New York State Education Department</strong></h4><p><strong>Description:</strong> The purpose of this grant is to develop, implement, and share innovative programs that utilize learning technologies to personalize learning and/or increase access to high-quality, rigorous learning experiences (such as through online, distance, or blended learning), as well as professional development programs to assist teachers and educational leaders in effectively utilizing learning technology to enhance teaching and learning.<br><strong>Eligibility:</strong> Public school districts and consortia of districts or district(s) and BOCES<br><strong>Project Period:</strong> 2.5 years from January 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027<br><strong>Funding Amount:</strong> $3,285,000 is expected to be allocated annually. PLTW is a non-profit organization that provides STEM curriculum programs for schools from kindergarten through high school.
